Morgaan Rhys-Davies Sinclair holds a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and was Professor of Mythology at The Los Angeles Film School and of English Composition there and at the Relativity Film School. She has written professionally for Harper & Row, The Weekly Standard, the New York Post, and Film Inquiry. Her doctoral dissertation — The Dark Fantastic of Guillermo del Toro, an analysis of del Toro’s use of myths, symbols, Jungian archetypes, and folkloric substrates in Cronos, The Devil’s Backbone, and Pan’s Labyrinth — is available from ProQuest dissertations and a trade book conversion is in development.
